Qudos Technology Ltd. was founded in 1985 and is at the forefront of Micro and Nano Technology.

Qudos provides Research and Development as well as prototype production facilities for a worldwide customer base. Qudos Technology Ltd. is a UK privately owned independent Microelectronic company based at The Central Microstructure Facility, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.

The company from 1992 to the present day has run it's operations from a custom built stand alone "minifab" facility, which was funded under a £19m DTI initiative. The "Minifab" consists of a complex of class1,class10 and class100 clean rooms in which has been installed equipment capable of supporting state-of-the-art processes.

The company carries out Research and Development and Prototype production globally for a variety of different clients. These include Government agencies, small & large multinational companies and universities . We offer a range of services, from undertaking small one off R & D projects, to major projects via prototype production.

Our capabilities are unique, we supply our customers with access to a greater range of Microelectronic and Photonic processes than many other establishments; we offer a commercial level of expertise and access to leading edge technologies. Qudos works in partnership with the CMF group at The Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.
